Purpose of Position: The Inventory Finance Account Manager oversees and manages the DLL/Mahindra Finance USA inventory finance portfolio for dealer accounts within a designated territory. This role involves actively monitoring risks, such as dealer delinquency and unpaid equipment, and ensuring timely resolution to minimize risk costs while maintaining positive relationships with dealers. Adherence to policies and procedures, operational control, compliance with external regulations, monitoring field audits, individual and team performance, and reporting are essential aspects of this role. The Inventory Finance Account Manager serves as the primary liaison between DLL/Mahindra Finance USA (lender), Mahindra dealers, and Mahindra Ag North America (vendor partner) for operational matters related to inventory financing.
Day to Day Responsibilities
- Manage the inventory financing relationship with dealer accounts in the assigned territory.
- Monitor and identify potential risks, such as dealer delinquency, unpaid assets, and assets at risk.
- Communicate risk signals to all internal stakeholders.
- Initiate immediate remedial actions to minimize risk costs and ensure timely resolution of dealer delinquency, Sold-and-Unpaid (SAU), and Sold-Out-Trust (SOT) situations.
- Collect outstanding interests, partial payments, and accounts, providing early warnings of potential problem dealer accounts to relevant stakeholders in accordance with internal policies and procedures.
- Ensure field audits are completed, documented, and reviewed promptly.
- Collaborate with Collections & Recovery, providing management with case updates and accurate, concise details of debt and legal documentation as required by policies and procedures.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Handle all day-to-day questions and requests from dealers and vendor partners related to inventory finance.
- Monitor dealer satisfaction, document feedback, and pass it on to appropriate departments.
- Identify recurring issues regarding processes, procedures, documents, and tooling.
- Propose feasible ideas for process improvement and implement these improvements.
- Interact effectively with dealers and vendor partners.
Essentials
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 1-3 years related experience.
- Good knowledge of debt collection, recovery, adherence to processes and inspection.
- Basic knowledge of accounting.
Salary : $55,000 - $60,000
