We are currently looking for an Events Production Assistant to report directly to the Events Production Manager to support the Events team with the planning and execution of Live Events, Broadcast, Content Capture and editing as well as general support / planning for live events within Samsung KX.
This role would suit someone with a flexible attitude paired with a cool head, to deliver on tight deadlines without compromising on the standard of work you put out. This is a hands-on role and will require someone who is comfortable being client facing, as you will be involved throughout the entire events process, as well as facilitating the delivery on site. This is a rota based role and requires someone who is available to work across the whole week (including weekends), with a typical shift being 7.5 hours, but this can range from 7am to 10pm depending on business needs.
Key responsibilities :
- Work with the production team to produce high quality content and live events from concept to completion
- Assemble, prepare, and set up equipment prior to filming, including but not limited to : tripods, monitors, lighting, video switchers and cabling as well as having experience in using pro camera equipment such as Lumix systems and Black Magic and be able to demonstrate your capability of carrying out the set up, preparation and testing of equipment prior to events
- OBS and or V-MIX configuration and delivery as well as operating these systems to a high level
- Be a part of all recorded content produced for KX, including training videos, promotional videos, online content and VTs for Live Broadcasts
- Brainstorm, write, and shoot any pre-recorded segments or demo
- Prepare and write a script with Trainers and devise camera shot list
- Light and film footage adhering to brief, assessing and solving problems as they arise
- Organise shot footage and give directions to the editors. Give and relay additional feedback where needed
- Editing video and content where required using different software such as Premier Pro and Photoshop
- Research emerging trends in filming and content creation to keep ahead of the curve
- Assist Events Production Manager with administration, site visits, technical planning and concept stages
- Represent the Events Production Manager at meetings when they are unable to attend
- Keep up to date with movements in the business, including product releases, creating treatments for potential content, enhancing the KX experience
