What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Foreman position at Stellar Group Inc?
Stellar has an immediate opening for a General Foreman with for a project in Waco, Tx.
Reporting to the Superintendent, the General Foreman is responsible for:
- Planning, coordinating, and supervising multiple work crews and all assigned employees on those teams
- Ensuring all work is well-planned, supplied and executed safely and efficiently
- Creating daily reports, tracking progress, time submission and other administrative duties as required to accurately track performance and progress
DUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 10 years of experience, including 5 years as a Supervisor
- Food Processing Plant experience is a major plus
- Experience with UG DWV systems and competent skills in Trenching and Shoring
- OSHA 30
SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Ability to interpret drawings and lay out field piping
- Lead and manage the work of multiple work crews
- Experience with Leica equipment preferred
- Mechanical aptitude
- Strong problem solving, communication and organizational skills
