Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join our Maintenance Team at our facility in Joplin, MO. This role is essential in maintaining, installing, upgrading, and repairing specialized HVAC / R equipment in critical application areas requiring precise temperature and humidity control down to -60°C.
As an HVAC Technician, you will work with PLC-controlled equipment, refrigeration systems, electrical components, and mechanical infrastructure to ensure the efficient operation of facility-wide heating, cooling, and ventilation systems. This position demands strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to quickly respond to maintenance needs while ensuring long-term, reliable performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC / R controls and systems.
- Diagnose and repair dehumidification and cascade systems.
- Install electrical systems, conduit, wiring, and HVAC controls.
- Conduct maintenance and repairs on commercial HVAC systems and refrigeration units.
- Direct the installation and startup of new systems, including ductwork, ventilation, and control systems.
- Provide after-hours support for facility operations when needed.
- Source and procure repair parts from vendors.
- Maintain detailed service logs and maintenance records.
- Collaborate with various departments and vendors to complete projects effectively.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and company standards.
