Job Title: SCADA Engineer
Job Type: Contract
Location: San Antonio, TX(On-site first 2 weeks)
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced SCADA Engineer to support the migration of an OASyS Aviva SCADA platform to the GE SCADA platform. The role involves verifying tags, upgrading screens, and integrating new pipeline assets. This position requires hands-on experience with OASyS DNA 7.5, GE Eterra Pipeline Habitat, and other SCADA platforms, along with expertise in SCADA screen design, database record modification, and communication protocols like Modbus and OPC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, modify, test, and design SCADA screens and database records.
- Read and interpret P&IDs and PFDs to develop operational functionality.
- Configure and upgrade SCADA systems for new and migrated pipeline assets.
- Verify and monitor tags, ensuring seamless integration and accuracy.
- Develop screens and pull data points for newly onboarded assets.
- Ensure effective communication between SCADA systems using Modbus and OPC protocols.
Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with OASyS DNA 7.5 and GE Eterra Pipeline Habitat (or other Aveva and GE SCADA platforms).
- Proficiency with GE Source, APF/Browser, and habitat applications.
- Strong understanding of Process Control Networks.
- Programming and scripting experience.
- Knowledge of networking and communication equipment configuration.
