Job Title: Delivery Route Driver
Pay rate: $19-22/hr.
Hours: Start time will vary, with the possibility of starting as early as 4:00 AM. All shifts will be scheduled during the first shift. Occasional overnight routes may be needed as a fill-in.

Job Overview
The Delivery Route Driver plays a critical role in our operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of individually packaged orders to correctional facilities. Operating a box truck, you will work directly with facility personnel to deliver items, maintain documentation, and uphold compliance with all safety and operational regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver individually packaged orders to inmates at correctional facilities under the supervision of correctional officers.
- Verify inmate identity and obtain signatures on order receipts.
- Provide inmates with a copy of their order receipt and address any discrepancies or damages.
- Collect and properly dispose of plastic bags and other waste generated during the process.
- Maintain accurate records of signed receipts and submit them as required.
- Inspect the delivery vehicle weekly and complete a Driver Checklist to submit to the Operations Manager.
- Adhere to state, federal, and company driving regulations.
Requirements
- Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: At least 2 years of professional driving experience.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Travel: Willingness to travel overnight occasionally.
- Licensing: Valid driver’s license with no more than one traffic violation in the past two years.
- Background: Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Security Clearance: Must qualify for correctional facility security clearance.
- Comfort working in correctional facility environments with limited inmate contact.
