Responsibilities
Maintain, manage and update projects schedules in Oracle Primavera P6 on a monthly basis or as needed.
Maintain proper project and activity codes in the Primavera Systems.
Review project status periodically and identify schedule / cost variance.
Perform project / program / portfolio cost and schedule analysis.
Prepare monthly capital progress / variance reports and assist in preparation of executive level summary reports.
Conduct analysis of the capital plan spending and forecasting, evaluate and report on project progress and performance.
Coordinate and collaborate with other project controls specialists; mentor and supervise junior project controls staff, as needed.
Required Skills / Experience
Project Controls Specialist requires 1-3 years of hands-on Primavera P6 experience on version 8.3 or higher.
Bachelor of Science Degree in an engineering, accounting, economic or business administration discipline or a Project Management Professional certification along with a technical degree.
Minimum of 1-3 years of progressively responsible experience in the area of project control.
Proficiency in the use of standard Microsoft Office products, Primavera (Oracle’s Project Management software).
Must possess a valid driver’s license
