We are seeking an experienced Logistics Specialist to join our dynamic team at Stellar Snacks. This role will oversee all aspects of logistics management and distribution. The ideal candidate will optimize our logistics operations while ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and maintaining a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics Management
- Oversee the movement and storage of goods, coordinating all aspects of the supply chain from procurement to delivery, including inventory management, transportation planning, warehouse operations, and customs clearance, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products to customers while optimizing costs and maintaining accurate tracking of shipments throughout the process.
- Manage relationships with suppliers, distributors, and transportation partners to ensure timely delivery of our snacks to retailers nationwide
- Implement and maintain cutting-edge logistics information systems to support our growth
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, FDA, and other relevant regulatory requirements in the snack food industry
Quality Control
- Collaborate with our Quality Assurance team to maintain Stellar Snacks' high food safety standards
- Monitor HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) systems for our pretzel production processes
Team Leadership
- Manage and mentor Stellar Snacks' logistics team members.
- Coordinate with other departments to align logistics with our overall business goals
Qualifications
- Equivalent Experience or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field; preferred
- 5 years of experience in logistics, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in the food or snack industry
- Strong knowledge of FDA regulations and OSHA standards as they apply to snack food production
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Outstanding leadership and communication abilities
- Passion for revolutionizing the snack industry and alignment with Stellar
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
