Position Overview:
Stellar Snacks is seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Manufacturing Supervisor to oversee our production operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensuring that manufacturing needs are met efficiently and safely. This role involves managing employees, coordinating work orders, and maintaining strict adherence to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage day-to-day operations of the food manufacturing floor.
- Ensure production goals and KPIs are consistently met or exceeded.
- Coordinate and prioritize work orders to meet production schedules and customer demands.
- Monitor employee performance, provide training, and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Enforce all safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Implement and oversee quality control processes to ensure product standards are maintained.
- Address and resolve any production issues or employee concerns in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of production data, employee attendance, and other relevant information.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Logistics, to optimize production efficiency.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements to increase productivity and reduce waste.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a food manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in using manufacturing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
