Position: Maintenance Planner Scheduler Buyer
Schedule: Full-time; Monday – Friday (Day Shift)
Location: Carson City, NV
Reports To: Director of Operations

Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about keeping operations running smoothly? We’re looking for a Maintenance Planner Scheduler Buyer to join our dynamic team and play a vital role in ensuring efficient production and maintenance processes. If you enjoy problem-solving, coordinating projects, and working in a collaborative environment, this opportunity is for you!

What You’ll Do:

• Plan and schedule corrective and preventive maintenance activities to minimize equipment downtime.
• Develop and maintain effective preventive maintenance programs while tracking completion and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Manage work orders, documentation, and assets using the CMMS system.
• Ensure spare parts inventory is well-maintained and aligned with maintenance needs.
• Work closely with Production, Safety, and Quality Control teams to drive continuous improvement.
• Identify and implement efficiency-enhancing opportunities throughout the manufacturing process.
• Provide maintenance technicians with necessary tools and parts for timely work order completion.
• Oversee plant-wide shutdowns and coordinate maintenance contractor compliance.
• Support the team with troubleshooting and technical expertise as needed.
• Assist in training employees on CMMS usage and best practices.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company policies, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.

What You Bring to the Team:

• Experience in maintenance planning and scheduling within the Food & Beverage processing industry.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to balance priorities.
• Proficiency in CMMS systems, inventory management, and data tracking.
• Hands-on experience with power tools, troubleshooting, and mechanical systems.
• Basic math and computer skills to effectively manage scheduling and documentation.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple departments and lead improvement initiatives.
• High school diploma or equivalent (technical certifications a plus!).

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

• Exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and moving machinery.
• Ability to climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs., and work in tight spaces.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Frequent standing, walking, and maneuvering through industrial environments.
