The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of self-performed mechanical construction projects. This role involves collaborating with project managers, field supervisors, and engineers to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering or construction management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Duties/Responsibilities:
The Assistant Project Manager assists the Project Manager, Field Staff, General Superintendent and other team members with the following as needed:
- Preparing and updating project schedules
- Estimating
- Coordination of submittals
- Change Order pricing and documentation
- Project Labor Analysis and reports
- Project buy-out:
- Subcontracts
- Purchase / Service Orders
- Monthly and weekly reports
- Conduct job site visits
- Support the planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical engineering projects
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure timely project completion
- Assist with maintaining project documentation and records
- Assist with managing project budgets and resources efficiently
- Participate in project meetings and provide input as needed
- Other duties as assigned

Education/Experience:

- Ability to travel occasionally to attend meetings, trainings, and events

- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time
- Ability to use a computer, phone, printer, scanner, and other office equipment
- Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 25 pounds of files, documents, and materials
