What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scrum Master position at StellarMettle Placements?
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Scrum Master where you will play a crucial role in guiding and supporting our Agile teams to deliver high-quality products. You will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments, and foster a collaborative environment. Your expertise in Agile methodologies will help drive continuous improvement and ensure effective communication within the team and with stakeholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives).
- Guide and coach the Scrum Team on Agile/Scrum practices and principles.
- Remove impediments and blockers to ensure the team can deliver high-quality work.
- Work closely with Product Owners to ensure the product backlog is well-defined and prioritized.
- Track and report on team progress and performance metrics.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the team and with external stakeholders.
- Advocate for Agile best practices and contribute to the Agile community within the organization.
- Assist in the development and implementation of Agile training programs for new team members.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
- Minimum of 5 years as a Scrum Master, specifically for Analytics and Enterprise Data Engineering teams.
- Expert in JIRA.
- Expert in Agile methodologies and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills.
