Job Location:- Chicago IL, Richardson TX, (Hybrid)

Long Term Contract

Job Purpose:

This position is Sr. DataStage Consultant with strong knowledge to be able to support analysis and development needs in an environment of DataStage, DB2, Control-M applications. This position is responsible business and functional requirement analysis, systems analysis and developing technical solutions aligning to application architecture recommendations; Acting as subject matter expert (SME) post go-live period.

Required Job Qualifications:

*Bachelor Degree and 5 years Information Technology experience OR Technical Certification and/or College Courses and 7 year Information Technology experience OR 9 years Information Technology experience.

*Experience in application and/or product feature design.

*Experience in application configuration

*Experience in integration technologies(IBM infosphere DataStage and Quality Stage, IBM IIDR)

*Experience in Unix Shell scripting.

*Experience in SQL, DB2 (LUW & Zos) and Teradata.

*Experience in JSON, XML.

*Experience in Scheduling tools(Control M, Zena).

*Experience in DevOps and/or continuous deployment and/or integration process and tools (Urban code, jenkins, Git, Jira, Service Now etc).

*Experience in iterative and/or agile and/or scrum development.

*Application domain knowledge.

*Prototyping.

*Problem solving / analytical thinking.

*Teamwork and collaboration.

Preferred Job Qualifications:

*Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology

*Product-specific application architecture.

*Ability to tie together solutions across systems.
