Hiring for
Electrical Engineer - Tech Center - Mossville, IL
Duration : 2 years
Experience : EE Degree - open to new grads with strong internships
Onsite : Team is onsite 90% of the time due to nature of work - they're flexible but not hybrid
they will design test-cells that other teams utilize to test their various components. For example, the team will design electrical wiring / stands / apparatus (the test cell) that allows for engine testing. Because they work with so many other teams, the work is ever-changing (but not chaotic) - which is a great selling point. (Also great visibility to internal roles on other teams for future career growth).
This role in particular requires someone with electrical knowledge to help document their building's electrical schematics to be used for tests (low to medium voltage). They will also contribute their electrical knowledge and help design the actual test designs as well. They may also spend time documenting and modeling standardized drawings of their electrical schematics which will then be modified and adjusted to be used for future tests.
New Notes : There is a heavy focus on creating wiring schematics for facility and PLC controls wiring, plus PLC programming capability.
Top 3 Must-Haves :
- Electrical knowledge (needs EE degree)
- CAD / CREO modeling (AutoCAD okay, doesn't need CREO)
- Hands-on and willing to learn
- Experience with creating wiring schematics for facility and PLC controls wiring
- PLC programming capability
