Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Power BI Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating data-driven reports and dashboards to support business decision-making processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze data, and deliver impactful visualizations using Microsoft Power BI.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Visualization :

  • Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI based on business requirements.
  • Create and manage data visualizations that provide actionable insights.

Data Modeling :

  • Design and implement data models to ensure scalability and efficiency in reporting.
  • Optimize queries and datasets for performance.

    • Collaboration :

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements.
  • Ensure clear communication of insights through visual storytelling.

    • Testing & Validation :

  • Validate data accuracy and ensure consistency in reports.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve reporting issues.

    • Documentation :

    Maintain thorough documentation of Power BI reports, data models, and workflows.

    Qualifications : Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and report creation.
  • Basic understanding of data modeling concepts (e.g., relationships, measures, calculated columns).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

    • Preferred

  • Familiarity with SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Knowledge of data visualization best practices.
  • Exposure to other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik) is a plus.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
