What are the responsibilities and job description for the (Guidewire) Automation QA Test Lead position at Stellent IT LLC?
Position is Hybrid and they need to be able to go onsite in Schaumburg, IL.
The key skill is Guidewire testing experience in an Insurance environment. This must be recent only 1-2 years back. The Guidewire experience must also be extensive, at least 5 years. They will need to know it inside and out. If they have a Guidewire Certification that would be great. I will take a non local candidate if they have a VERY good reason for relocating. That being said, we only got interview requests for candidate who were local.
- Candidate must have Guidewire Experience and preferably a Guidewire Certification in recent projects
- Perform requirements analysis, author functional test cases, and execute test cases while understanding the testable software requirements
- Apply knowledge in testing tools and automation testing
- Recommend scope of work for automation testing and plans are in place to implement and execute automation test scripts
- Execute / maintain automated scripts and troubleshoot / fix. Coordinate the updates with Test Analyst(s) as needed.
- Defect Management, including logging and reporting of defects
- Lead testing for Client's transformation initiatives and / or application portfolios
- Test management, communication, metrics, and status reporting, including identification of risks and escalation of issues to the project team and / or Client
- Obtain approval from Client for all deliverables as per the defined acceptance criteria
- Prepare test summary reports for each software release targeted for production
- Coordinate work with onshore / offshore team members as needed
