Summary:

The Administrator, Messaging Sr is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's messaging systems. The Senior Messaging Administrator will manage the messaging infrastructure, ensuring that it is reliable, secure, and meets the needs of the organization. The Senior Messaging Administrator will work closely with other IT teams and business stakeholders to ensure that messaging systems are integrated with other systems and meet business requirements.

Essential Job Functions:

Design, implement, and maintain messaging systems, including email, instant messaging, and collaboration tools.

Manage the messaging infrastructure, ensuring that it is reliable, secure, and meets the needs of the organization.

Monitor messaging systems for performance, availability, and security, and take proactive measures to address issues.

Develop and implement policies and procedures related to messaging systems, including email retention and archiving, security, and access control.

Collaborate with other IT teams and business stakeholders to ensure that messaging systems are integrated with other systems and meet business requirements.

Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans for messaging systems.

Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting and issue resolution.

Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in messaging systems.

Manage relationships with vendors and service providers related to messaging systems.

Develop and maintain documentation related to messaging systems and processes.

Utilizing SMTP Basic Authentication and Modern Authentication methods.

Utilizing Load Balancers to offer High Availability to the Onprem Exchange System.

Expertise in Powershell.

Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.

Five (5) years of experience in messaging systems administration, with a focus on email systems.

Experience with email retention and archiving, security, and access control.

Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) certification in messaging systems is a plus.
