Title: Full-stack .NET Developer

Preferred Experience & Skills

Proficient in coding for both visual interfaces and web services construction.

Demonstrated expertise in product development using:

o Microsoft Visual Studio (2010 & 2013)

o C#, ASP.NET, .NET, JavaScript

o MS SQL 2008 and 2012 R2 Enterprise Server

o Team Foundation Server (TFS)

o Familiarity with Medicaid

Development Skills:

Proficiency in code development, unit testing, source code management, build management, integration testing, and deployment

Collaboration and Communication:

Clarify and translate requirements for the software development team.

Interact with other software engineers and technical leaders to understand subsystem and component specifications. Recommend improvements to facilitate efficient development.

Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including DSS and other state technology staff.

Design and document subsystems and components consisting of multiple objects working together to execute encapsulated functions.

Implement and debug subsystems and components

Write and execute tests for components and subsystems.

Participate in integrated test sessions on test and production servers.

Recommend data interchange formats, APIs, messaging strategies, application server software, as well as hardware and virtual machine requirements.

Experience:

7 years designing and implementing medium to large-scale software systems using .NET architectures.

5 years developing data-driven applications utilizing significant relational database engines.

5 years building web-based software systems with N-tier architectures, dynamic content, scalable designs, and complex security implementations.

Technical Knowledge:

In-depth knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and at least two application, database, messaging, or web server systems.

Proven ability to successfully design and implement multiple software components and subsystems.
