Role : .NET Developer

Location : Frankfort, Kentucky (Hybrid)

Job Type : Contract

Client is looking Sr. .NET Developer with experience in developing applications in a .NET environment. This position is with the Kentucky All Schedule Prescription Electronic Reporting (KASPER) Team, one of the premier Prescription Drug Monitoring Programs (PDMP) in the country. Candidates should have strong communication skills, and willingness to work with an experienced team comprised of a Project Manager, Developers, Business Analysts, , as well as business stakeholders utilizing modern and new technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

3 years experience in Software Analysis, Design, Development, Testing practices of Client Server, N-tier applications

Proficiency in .NET Technologies : Strong experience with C#, .NET Core, .NET Framework, ASP.NET MVC / Web API.

Database Expertise : Extensive experience with SQL Server (T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, Indexing, Partitions).

Performance Tuning : Proven ability to optimize queries, indexing strategies, execution plans, and database configurations.

Data Access : Experience with Entity Framework or ADO.NET for efficient data handling.

Reporting Tools : SSRS

Cloud & DevOps (Preferred) : Experience with Azure SQL, AWS RDS, CI / CD pipelines, or database automation tools.

Other Tools & Technologies : Proficiency with Git, Visual Studio, SSMS, PowerShell,

Problem-Solving Skills : Ability to analyze performance issues and implement effective solutions.

Strong Communication : Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
