Role : Oracle Database Engineer / DBA

Job type : Contract

Location : Alpharetta, GA (3 days / week onsite)

Must have :

  • 5 years of experience is fine for this role, doesn't have to be a very senior candidate
  • Must have experience with RAC, ASM, Active Data Guard technologies
  • RAC Database Performance experience
  • Golden Gate is a nice to have
  • Python experience is a plus

Description :

  • Minimum 15 Years proven experience as an Oracle database engineer / DBA with extensive SQL performance tuning expertise.
  • Very thorough and clear understanding of Oracle Database Architecture - including Oracle multi-tenancy architecture.
  • Extensive knowledge and solid troubleshooting experience in : RAC, ASM, Active Data Guard technologies.
  • Extensive knowledge in RAC Database Performance and SQL tuning.
  • Strong understanding of best practices in maintaining medium to large scale Oracle database systems.
  • Experience in troubleshooting various installation and Oracle RAC and database patching issues.
  • Experience with Golden Gate.
  • Ability to work under pressure, quick thinking and remaining calm during stressful situations.
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical issues.

    • Appetite to learn new technologies and constantly improve technical skills.
