Job Description :
This is a long-term consulting opportunity for someone interested in working on GenAI initiatives for enterprise-wide solutions at a leading investment management firm in NYC. Role is hybrid, 3 days a week in office.
Full Stack hands on developer (10 years) with strong expertise in Python and AI technologies to design, develop and maintain high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate will have experience with AI libraries integrating with cloud platforms. You will work with cross-functional teams to implement new features and ensure seamless integration of both front-end and back-end components.
You will be working on initiatives to build AI-enabled automations and tools for the firm to use. For example : building custom apps that use Open AI's api to build Assistants, automations, document qnA, Langchain features, Lllamindex features etc.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a strong portfolio demonstrating Python-based projects, particularly AI-focused applications.
Proficiency in Python and experience with Python web frameworks
Experience with AI / Agentic frameworks and libraries
Familiarity with AI-related deployment in Azure cloud environments.
Experience building RESTful APIs using Python.
Strong understanding of SQL databases , with proficiency in writing efficient SQL queries and optimizing database interactions.
Experience in DevOps pipelines , including build, release, and CI / CD processes
Basic front-end development skills with a focus on integrating AI functionalities into web interfaces
Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps)
