What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Accountant position at STellent IT?
Responsibilities:
· Perform month-end closing activities, including reviewing ledger accounts for Suspense, A/P, and some Portfolio accounts to perform reclass journal entries as required.
· Prepare reconciliations on a monthly basis (some multiple times per month due to the volume of activity) and work with business partners to seek corrections as required.
· Collaborate with other accountants on the US Team, as well as the Treasury team, the Accounts Payable team, and other Support Representatives throughout the Business.
· Participate in projects as opportunities arise.
Years of Experience and Education:
· Bachelor's degree in accounting or related financial discipline required. An advanced degree in a financial discipline is preferred.
· 5-7 years of financial and/or accounting experience required.
Skills Required:
· Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking.
· Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
· Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and any other related accounting software.
· Ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed.
· Ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses.
· Knowledge of federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations as related to accounting.

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
