FerroWorks is seeking a talented ERP Implementation Manager to lead and oversee the carve-out from our former public company ownership and spearhead the implementation of a new ERP system. This critical position will play a key role in establishing, managing, and optimizing our ERP system to support business needs and drive organizational growth.
As the Implementation Manager, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement efficient processes, ensure seamless integration of systems, and support continuous improvement efforts. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the operational foundation of a newly independent company while contributing to FerroWorks' long-standing tradition of innovation and excellence.
Key Responsibilities
ERP System Implementation
- Lead the design, selection, and implementation of a new ERP system.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project goals, timelines, and deliverables.
- Manage data migration, system integration, and testing phases.
Process Optimization
- Analyze business processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Configure and customize ERP software to align with operational needs.
- Ensure system configurations meet compliance and reporting requirements.
Project Leadership
- Lead cross-functional project teams through all implementation phases.
- Serve as the primary liaison between business units, IT, and third-party vendors.
- Track and report project milestones, risks, and progress to stakeholders.
Support and Training
- Develop and deliver end-user training programs to ensure effective system adoption.
- Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshoot ERP-related issues.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of processes and configurations.
Continuous Improvement
- Monitor ERP system performance and recommend enhancements.
- Implement best practices for data integrity, security, and system usage.
- Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience leading ERP implementations or system upgrades.
- Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Plex, Epicor, or B&L Information Systems Odyssey.
- Strong knowledge of database management and SQL.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
- Experience working with manufacturing ERP systems.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
