Job Title: Senior Cloud Developer – ONSITE

Location: Plano, Texas

Salary: $150,000 - $170,000 (up to $180,000 for exceptional candidates)

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience building and scaling cloud-native applications, particularly in the Azure ecosystem. This is a high-impact, onsite position focused on internal cloud systems, guest faceting, and supporting devices at scale. This role requires deep technical expertise in Azure components and a history of managing large-scale cloud deployments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications (particularly React Native apps) that integrate with Azure services.
• Work on internal cloud systems to optimize guest-facing platforms and backend systems supporting device management.
• Support the development and scaling of systems handling large-scale traffic, from thousands of devices to hundreds of thousands.
• Utilize multi-threading techniques and other performance-enhancing strategies to ensure responsiveness and efficiency of cloud applications.
• Build solutions that support high availability and reliability at scale, dealing with multiple Azure components like Azure Storage (with 5-10 options per solution), compute, and networking.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, infrastructure, and product teams, to ensure seamless integration and performance.
• Maintain a focus on scalability, performance, and security across all cloud systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues in real-time.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience: 10 years of experience in cloud development, particularly with Microsoft Azure.
• Azure Expertise: Extensive experience with a variety of Azure services (Compute, Storage, Networking, etc.). Familiarity with at least 5-10 different Azure storage solutions and knowing how to choose the right one for a specific requirement.
• Scaling Experience: Proven experience managing cloud infrastructure that supports large-scale deployments. Understanding of traffic scaling—from 1,000 to over 500,000 devices.
• Multi-threading: Strong understanding and hands-on experience with multi-threading, especially when scaling web applications (e.g., optimizing for 1K to 100K concurrent users or devices).
• Industry Experience: Previous employment experience should be in industries where large-scale deployment, multi-device management, and complex cloud systems are standard (e.g., e-commerce, IoT, SaaS).
• Tech Stability: We seek candidates who have demonstrated consistency in their career trajectory and have a proven record of choosing and sticking with the right technologies for the right reasons. Job-hopping or frequent changes in the tech stack will not be suitable for this role.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with React Native and mobile cloud applications.
• Background in designing high-traffic, high-availability web systems.
• Familiarity with serverless architectures and microservices.
• Strong skills in automation, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
