Role Overview :
As the Senior Global Sustainability Manager, you will be at the forefront of shaping and implementing sustainability strategies. Your work will involve setting sustainability goals, leading initiatives that drive long-term value, and overseeing the preparation of the annual Sustainability Report in alignment with ESG standards and stakeholder expectations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Sustainability Reporting : Lead the creation of the annual Sustainability Report, ensuring compliance with ESG reporting standards and meeting the expectations of internal and external stakeholders.
- Climate and Emissions Management : Manage climate-risk assessments and emissions accounting to ensure ongoing compliance and verification.
- Data Analysis : Analyze ESG data (both qualitative and quantitative) to support sustainability goals, including reporting for SEC filings.
- Project Leadership : Lead cross-functional sustainability initiatives that align with and advance the company’s broader sustainability strategy.
- Performance Monitoring : Track and report progress on sustainability targets and key ESG metrics, while managing related budgets and expenditures.
- ESG Engagement : Prepare responses for ESG rating agencies and key clients to improve ESG scores and enhance the company’s market positioning.
- Reporting & Presentations : Develop reports and presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders on sustainability performance and strategic initiatives.
- Team Leadership : Mentor and provide guidance to junior analysts on the sustainability team.
- Additional Responsibilities : Take on other ad hoc projects as needed to support the company’s sustainability goals.
