Role Description
This is a full-time entry-level role for a Wealth Management Associate. The role will take on a Hybrid schedule, with in-office days occurring in Greenwich, CT. The Wealth Management Associate will work closely with the Managing Partner and is ideal for someone who is passionate about finance and investment management. Through that close partnership, the Associate will be responsible for planning activities, investment research, analysis, report preparation, and communication, for a select contingent of pre-existing clients. The Associate is expected to develop, suggest and implement wealth management strategies tailored to client needs.
- Serve as a Trusted Advocate of the Managing Partner and partner with them to meet the client’s needs
- Develop customized and comprehensive personal and business financial plans
- Assist in facilitating client relations, data collection, analysis, and reviews
- Develop presentation material and review with advisor teams
- Assist Managing Partner with action plans and action items specific to an individual client
- Conduct analysis of trends and forecasts, recommendation actions for optimization, and perform ongoing research as required by the Managing Partner
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures and perform business functions with focus on consistency, quality, and compliance
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned
- Perform other duties or special projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a wealth management or finance role is a plus (minimum 2 years), inclusive of a Client Associate / Client Service Associate role.
- Being Registered (Series 7, Series 66) is a plus. Relevant designations (e.g., CRPC, CFP) are similarly advantageous. Non-registered candidates, with experience, and who possess the intent to become registered in a short pre-determined time period, are still encouraged to apply.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting or related field is a plus, but not required
- Familiarity with planning software. eMoney being a significant plus.
- Significant Interest in Finance, Financial Planning and Investment Management
- Strong Analytical Skills and Investment Knowledge
- Effective written and verbal communication skills & excellent organizational skills
- Demonstrates attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and exercise discretion without immediate supervision at all times.
- Ability to organize and prioritize workflow and assignments in a deadline-oriented environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality while being professional and poised
