What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior DevSecOps Engineer position at Stem IT?
Mission driven Fintech firm is looking to bring on a Senior DevSecOps Engineer for its Midtown Manhattan office(3 days onsite a week). This person will join a fast-paced team, integrating security into CI/CD pipelines, ensure industry standard compliance and automate security processes. The ideal aspirant will be well versed with: IaC tools, security automation and have a deep understanding of cloud security.

Targeted Qualifications:
· 5 years as DevSecOps engineer or similar role
· Experience developing security best practices across cloud environments (AWS,GCP, and/or Azure)
· Background with IaC tools: Terraform, Ansible, and/or CloudFormation
· Experience with scripting and automation with: python, bash and/or powershell
· Knowledgeable with SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability management tools
· Background with secure software development practices and OWAPS top 10
Bonus Qualifications:
· AWS and/or GCP certifications
· Strong programming skills with Python, Java or OOP languages
· Knowledge of PCI-DSS, NIST and SOC2 compliance frameworks
· Background working in Fintech or regulated industries
· CISSP, AWS Security, CEH, OSCP, CISM or other relevant security or cloud certifications
· Well versed with Kubernetes security best practices
· Bachelors, Masters or PhD in related field
