Middle School STEM INSTRUCTOR: Building STEAM program 2025
THIS IS A TEMPORARY CONTRACT POSITION
6 Saturdays, 9 A.M. - 12:30 P.M.
February 22, March 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29
Location: Seattle Central College
Requirements:
- Instruct a cohort of up to 20 female students in classes focused on science/chemistry enrichment and the engineering design process. Training is provided
- Attend training and check-in meetings, maintain attendance and discipline records, and administer and submit pre and post-survey data.
Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Experience working with BIPOC adolescents and/or teens in an educational or recreational setting.
- Educational background in one or more STEM subjects. Willingness to learn new subjects.
- Experience with class management and/or willingness to learn
- Outstanding time management and organizational skills
- Committed to providing all kids with equal education opportunities.
