Job Responsibilities:
Range of Assembly Tasks:
Perform both repetitive and varied assembly tasks, meaning you’ll work on standard, routine assemblies as well as unique or custom projects.
The assemblies include electronic and mechanical parts, such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.
Use of Diagrams and Layouts:
Follow technical drawings or blueprints to guide your initial layouts and ensure components are placed accurately in assemblies.
Continuity Checks:
Ensure that all electrical connections are complete and uninterrupted, both during assembly and after the assembly is completed. This means verifying that circuits are fully connected without faults.
Quality Inspections:
Inspect products on the production line to confirm they meet quality standards. This role may involve spotting and fixing issues as they arise, ensuring high-quality output.
Prototype Work:
Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies. You’ll be working on preliminary versions of products, testing them in conditions similar to actual use to ensure functionality and performance.
