What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coffee Roaster position at Stemma Craft Coffee?
We're a quality-driven specialty coffee shop with deep roots—from growing and roasting our own beans to crafting beautiful coffee experiences in-house. We're looking for an experienced, part-time coffee roaster who’s passionate about quality, tradition, and continuous growth.
This role is ideal for someone who:
- Has hands-on roasting experience (minimum 1–2 years preferred)
- Is organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
- Cares deeply about quality control—you’ll lead regular cuppings, profile adjustments, and consistency checks
- Familiar with cropster
- Holds coffee certifications (CQI, SCA, etc.) or is actively pursuing them
- Is hungry to learn and grow within the specialty coffee community
You’ll be responsible for maintaining our roast profiles, dialing in for peak freshness, managing inventory, and collaborating with our team to elevate the entire coffee program—from seed to cup. Our ideal candidate doesn’t just want to roast—they want to steward the craft and push it forward.
Located in Orlando, FL, we’re more than a coffee shop. We’re a community hub built on hard work, creativity, and respect for the process.
To apply, send your resume, a brief intro, and any relevant certifications or roasting logs.
Let’s roast something special—together.
