Job Title: Retail Photographer

Job description:

Stenella Antiques & Interiors is currently interviewing for a stable, secure, part time (8-16 hours weekly) position of product photographer. We are looking for a candidate with past product photography experience and/or photography degree. We are looking for someone who can accurately photograph approx 20-40 items in an 8 hour period while maintaining consistent quality and consistency. Quality and accuracy is more important than speed. The successful candidate will be able to achieve technical, qualitative and quantitative goals while meeting project’s needs and deadlines. The ideal candidate will have past photography experience in large product photography for the purchase of resale on company website, eBay, Amazon and other online marketplaces.

Responsibilities:

· Understand specifications and work closely with our warehouse team to stage and photograph individual items for online marketplace and internet sales channels

· Capture and process images until you achieve desired results

· Shoot items to highlight their key features and accurately show items in detail

· Constantly improve image quality using various methods

· Assist in improving the photo booth, lighting and equipment

· Use and maintain modern and traditional technical equipment (cameras, lenses etc)

· Arrange objects, lighting and background to adhere to specifications

· Archive photographic images and maintain database

· Maintain an in depth understanding of photographic best practices and procedures

Skills:

· Proven professional shooting experience

· Eye-catching portfolio

· Proficient with traditional and modern equipment

· Solid knowledge of Photoshop, Corel, Capture One or other photography specific software

· Ability to edit photos as needed

· Shooting and lighting

· Competency in applying photographic best practices and techniques

· Knowledge of production process for online publishing

· Ability to move, slide and stage furniture pieces up to 100lbs either independently or with assistance (small and large furniture, mirrors, art, decorative accessories etc.)

· Must be able to work independently and with others

· Photography degree or similar

· Driver's License

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week
