GEN AI Data Platform Engineer (GEN AI data ingestion pipeline engineer) – w2 Candidates only
Location: Onsite Hybrid 3 days a week in Hartford, CT ONLY (remote not considered) – Local highly preferred or someone who can relocate

Domain Experience In Finance Or Insurance Preferred
REQUIRED SKILLS ( Resume MUST SHOW EXPERIENCE with the following ):
The person would be working mainly on building application pipelines with AWS services, working with LLM models and then deploying artifacts using CICD pipelines built with Jenkins and Terraform
What type of application will they be developing? Will this contractor primarily be working on new development or maintaining the current environment?
The contractor will be part of the new build as stated above
Will this contractor be testing the application/software they are developing?
Yes
What programming languages do you want this contractor to have experience with? (How many years of experience with each language)
Using Python, Lambda, step functions, etc. with GEN AI data ingestion pipelines
What other tools or technologies do you want this contractor to have experience with/how will they be interacting with these tools in this role?
Experience working with LLM orchestration frameworks like Langchain with experience in NLP and Deep Learning
What type of background should this contractor have in order to meet the needs of your team? Do they need to hold a specific degree or certification?
Development experience with AWS services and hands-on python development experience. Experience with Terraform/Jenkins would be expected.

- Python – Hands-on development experience (Intermediate to Advanced)

- Building application pipelines with AWS services, working with LLM models
- Deploying artifacts using CICD pipelines built with Jenkins and Terraform
- Experience working with LLM orchestration frameworks like Langchain with experience in NLP and Deep Learning
- Minimum 4 years on AWS

- AWS – Development Experience desired (Intermediate at a minimum)
- CICD (Terraform and Jenkins) – Development experience with Terraform (desired but CloudFormation experience will be considered)
- AVP->Developer Product Owner Scrum Master
- This contractor will help us move the roadmap forward by building generic Gen AI Patterns to support various use cases of The Hartford
- This contractor will be working on building the Gen AI pipelines and patterns. Resume should show WHAT they have done/ accomplished, not just what they have used.
- The person on this role will be part of group of engineers on the team who all work towards a common goal of democratizing Gen AI within The Hartford by building robust frameworks that any end user can leverage without having to worry about underlying complexities
- The person being onboarded is expected to come with required development experience to get started with actual work with minimal onboarding/learning. There will be various opportunities to continue to learn on the job
