We are looking for a talented and experienced DevOps Engineer/Architect with a strong background in GitHub and GitHub Actions. The successful candidate will be responsible for design (scalable, secure, and reliable), developing and managing our CI/CD pipelines, automating workflows, and ensuring our development and production environments run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Architectural Design: Design and implement scalable and secure CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Strategy Development: Develop and implement DevOps strategies and best practices to enhance the software development lifecycle.
- CI/CD Pipeline Development: Design, implement, and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure security and compliance standards are met across CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure.
- Automation: Develop scripts and tools to automate deployment processes, infrastructure provisioning, and routine tasks.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline development and release processes.
- Monitoring & Maintenance: Monitor system performance, ensure high availability, and respond to incidents as necessary.
- Configuration Management: Manage and configure infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
- Security: Implement and enforce security best practices in CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure management.
- Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and operational procedures.
- Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve issues related to application deployment and infrastructure.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Proven experience in a DevOps role (Engineering & Architecture).
- Extensive experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, and other CI/CD tools.
- Experience with Azure cloud.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, Go, or PowerShell.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience in containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- Understanding of networking, security, and system administration.
- Soft Skills:
