This role involves overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of various life sciences projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage life sciences projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with company goals and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including research, clinical, regulatory, and quality assurance, to ensure project objectives are met.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, and monitor progress to ensure adherence to schedules.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, addressing issues as they arise to ensure successful project execution.
- Communicate project status, updates, and challenges to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and present project documentation, including progress reports, presentations, and budget analyses.
- Foster a collaborative team environment, promoting best practices in project management and life sciences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Biotechnology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience (3 years) in project management within the life sciences sector, preferably in drug development or clinical research.
- Strong understanding of life sciences research and development processes, including regulatory and compliance standards.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is a plus.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in project management tools and software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello).
