Our client provides SaaS to large Healthcare and Financial clients. This SaaS tracks hospital cases, Pharmacy usage/ trends etc. The Architect has a small team supporting Clinical web and service application on Sepsis tracking (real-time based on HL7 from hospital data)/ alerts application written in C#/.NET SQL with React using MobX, SOLID, TDD and Entity Framework (not Code First). Regarding coding> 70% is backend and 30% is front end, but overall 20% is tweaking enhancements, prod bug fixes/ resolution and 5% is working with Clinicians (2 Dr.s and 1 Nurse on the team) to ensure that the application behaves as expected and produces consistent, accurate Sepsis alerts based on the Rules Engine they use (homegrown). The team is 2 on shore, 1 offshore, 2 QA’s, 3 clinicians, and 1 architect.
Mgr is heavily leaning to someone he can shape with 2-4 years of experience (not thrilled about more experience than that), but they must have initiative, cares about quality of code, enthusiasm, having end to end .NET web experience, end to end working on features with stakeholders, and lives in the Madison WI commutable area since this is a 2 day a week HYBRID ONSITE ROLE that will convert to fulltime.
Outstanding qualities: extra-curricular activities on resume, MS Orleans a bonus, exposure to .NET core (they are on 4.8.1 and will eventually move to core), perhaps used or contributed to Opensource software, and an independent thinker not a “yes man”. They encourage ideas and innovation.
Description: Under moderate supervision, develops cost-effective Pharmacy OneSource is looking for a Software Engineer to help us define and develop our next generation clinical surveillance platform; a platform that currently impacts the safety and care of 1000s of patients across the country. As a developer on a small team, you will wear multiple hats and have the opportunity to deliver value where-ever it's needed most! While this the focus of the role is coding, you'll also be debugging production issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
- 2 years’ experience building enterprise web based applications;
- 2 years’ experience developing applications on C# .NET platform;
- 2 years’ experience with SQL
