What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager position at Steneral Consulting?
Location : st. paul, mn MUST be onsite within 40 miles and 60 miles of drive
Duration : 1 year
Overall focus :
Support Project Management needs for various enterprise business and technology projects. This PM consultant will be responsible for successfully completing multiple high-priority projects of various size.
Responsibilities :
- Project planning (Agile, Waterfall or Hybrid, depending on project)
- Project execution including establish expectations for key project resources and hold them accountable
- Efficiently create and store meeting notes including key decisions
- Status reporting in compliance with Strategic Initiatives team standards
- Coordinate multiple stakeholders
- Communicate concerns, risks, and successes to the Principal Project Manager and Director, Strategic Initiatives and Data Governance, as appropriate
- Manage backlog for multiple projects
- Research and capture requirements for user stories
- Produce meeting notes from discovery interviews
- Write acceptance criteria
- Facilitate story discussions in internal team meetings as needed
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily standup, demos, etc.), as needed
- Ensure timely communication regarding project status, including timeline and holding the team accountable to agreed-upon deadlines
