Project Description And Background
Client is currently executing a Washington State Ferries (WSF) Ticketing and Reservation Modernization Project that will result in significant changes to the working environment and daily business processes of the department. Project Quality Assurance oversight is required in order to ensure a timely and successful program delivery adhering to WaTech standards. Required deliverables include quality assurance management plan, investment review plan, readiness assessment, risk assessment report, project plan and schedule assessment, change request review report, PQA records library, etc. Because the project is currently out for Bid and has a tightly constrained schedule, prior experience with government agency is preferred, ideally in a transportation environment deploying software that interacts with the public. Must have prior PQA Experience managing projects under WaTech oversight (Policy PM-03), and we are particularly interested to see candidates with prior WSDOT Washington State Ferries experience.
Requirements /Qualification
Client conducts multiple Information Technology projects over the course of each biennia. Those Information Technology projects that are determined by the Washington Technology Solutions (WaTech) Office as being “Under Project Oversight” are required to have an Independent QA Services Practitioner (as specified in WaTech Policy PM-03 and it’s associated Standards), assigned for the life of the project.
