Responsibilities
- ServiceNow VR Module Integration: Lead the integration of the Vulnerability Response (VR) module into existing ServiceNow environments, ensuring it aligns with the client’s security operations and business objectives.
- Configuration and Customization: Configure and customize the ServiceNow VR module to support the identification, management, and remediation of vulnerabilities, including creating custom workflows, dashboards, and reports.
- Workflow Automation: Design and implement automated workflows within the ServiceNow platform to streamline vulnerability management processes and reduce manual intervention.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with security, IT, and business teams to gather requirements, understand challenges, and translate them into effective ServiceNow solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Regularly assess the performance of the VR module, making recommendations for enhancements and upgrades to optimize its functionality and effectiveness.
- Training and Support: Provide training and ongoing support to end-users and stakeholders to ensure they can effectively use the VR module.
- Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure that all configurations and processes comply with industry best practices, organizational policies, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Analytics, another quantitative discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 3 years of experience working with the ServiceNow platform, specifically in the Vulnerability Response (VR) or Security Operations (SecOps) modules.
- Proven experience in integrating and customizing ServiceNow modules to meet business and security requirements.
- Strong background in vulnerability management and cybersecurity practices.
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Vulnerability Response.
- Experience with other ServiceNow SecOps modules (e.g., Security Incident Response, Threat Intelligence).
- Experience with various Business Applications (ERP, CRM, Planning, etc.) data concepts, and business processes.
- Highly motivated self-starter with ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision and direction.
- Willing to work outside normal business hours as needed (often early mornings) to collaborate with international colleagues.
- International travel may be required, so must possess a valid Passport and/or Travel Documentation.
- Proficiency in configuring and customizing the ServiceNow platform, including scripting (JavaScript, Glide), workflows, and UI policies.
- Experience with ServiceNow VR module implementation and integration.
- Knowledge of security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Familiarity with vulnerability management tools (e.g., Qualys, Rapid 7, Tenable) and their integration with ServiceNow.
- Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM).
