- MS/BS in Computer Science/Information Systems or related field and/or equivalent experience.
- Master’s degree in computer science preferred.
- 12 years of working experience in various database technologies – Relational DB (Oracle, MS SQL Server, MySQL, etc.), NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, etc.) supporting large, complex and mission critical OLTP and data warehouse environments.
- 6 years of experience and expertise in advanced cloud managed databases such as Redshift, Aurora PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Aurora MySQL, etc.
- Extensive hands-on experience and expertise in supporting and maintaining large, complex and mission critical OLTP and data warehouse environments.
- Extensive expertise on Data Protection, High Availability, Disaster Recovery, Security and Legal Compliance, Performance Tuning DBA best practices.
- Expertise in driving the design, development, and operations of high-profile, mission-critical IT systems with a focus to optimize use of existing infrastructure and build scalable and efficient solutions using cutting edge technologies.
- Advanced expertise in the use of AWS technologies and services like RDS, AWS Backup, S3, Athena, Kinesis, Glue, Lambda, CloudWatch, CloudFormation, CloudTrail, AWS Auto Scaling, AWS SSO, EC2 Image Builder, DMS, KMS, Data Sync, AWS Cost Explorer, VPC, IAM, Route 53, Direct Connect, Secrets Manager, Guard Duty, Certificate Manager and efficient in setting up cross zone / region backups and restorations.
- Experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is desired.
- Experience in managing Oracle EBS systems preferred.
- Provide guidelines to write, debug and tune SQL and PL/SQL, packages, procedures, functions, triggers, etc.
