Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer with specialized knowledge in the Energy and Utilities Cloud. This role focuses on the Employee Desktop project, providing a 360-degree customer view for various employees, including customer service agents. The ideal candidate is outcome-driven, works independently, and mentors team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and develop Salesforce solutions for the Employee Desktop project.
- Collaborate with team members with minimal Salesforce experience to grow their capabilities.
- Utilize Lightning Web Components (LWC) for high-performance user interfaces.
- Favor configurations over custom code (Apex) to achieve business outcomes.
- Oversee integrations with other systems via MuleSoft (RESTful API experience required).
- Ensure project delivery with minimal oversight.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Ensure the performance, security, and scalability of Salesforce solutions by following best practices
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Salesforce Architect/Developer with Energy and Utilities Cloud expertise.
- Experience in implementing Salesforce solutions for customer service applications.
- Strong hands-on experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Proficiency with RESTful APIs and system integration.
- Strong preference for configurations over customizations (using Apex when necessary).
- Ability to deliver results with minimal direction and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile/Scrum) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Salesforce development tools, such as Salesforce DX, Visual Studio Code, and Git.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Relevant Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Technical Architect, Platform Developer II, Energy & Utilities Cloud Consultant) are highly desirable.
