Position Overview:
As an Entry-Level Software Developer, you will gain hands-on experience in software development and assist in supporting our legal operations. Working alongside a team of experienced professionals, you will perform foundational development tasks, learn industry standards, and contribute to the team’s success. Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and maintaining software applications using Visual Studio (.NET) and MS SQL Server.
- Participate in gathering and understanding requirements, translating them into basic functional specifications.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code under supervision.
- Conduct initial testing to identify bugs or issues.
- Support deployment and provide troubleshooting assistance for software solutions.
- Document simple designs, processes, and procedures as directed.
- Stay informed about basic software development trends and best practices.
Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Visual Studio for VB.NET and C#.NET; experience with VBA is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of MS SQL Server including simple queries, DML/DDL.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) is desirable but not required.
- Previous internships or academic projects in software development are a plus.
