This position oversees our diverse commercial property portfolio throughout Indianapolis, balancing financial acumen with exceptional relationship management to deliver outstanding service to both property owners and tenants.
YOUR IMPACT
As our Commercial Property Manager, you will:
- Drive financial performance and accountability across multiple properties
- Build lasting relationships with property owners and tenants
- Lead property improvement initiatives that enhance value and tenant satisfaction
- Create vibrant, well-maintained commercial spaces that contribute to Indianapolis' growth
- Serve as the trusted advisor to property owners on operational and strategic decisions
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Financial Stewardship
- Drive P&L performance with full accountability for financial outcomes
- Oversee and approve comprehensive monthly financial reporting
- Collaborate with the controller on invoicing and receivables management
- Maintain vendor invoice approval processes
Relationship Building
- Cultivate trust-based relationships with property owners through regular communication
- Build tenant loyalty through proactive engagement and responsive problem-solving
- Maintain current tenant contact information in our database systems
Property Leadership
- Lead day-to-day operations with attention to detail and service excellence
- Conduct annual capital needs assessments and develop improvement recommendations
- Coordinate tenant improvement projects and property enhancements
- Oversee building safety programs and emergency preparedness
- Manage building access control systems and tenant access provisioning
Strategic Management
- Review and negotiate service contracts and lead vendor selection processes
- Ensure vendor performance meets established service standards
- Maintain current Certificates of Insurance (COIs) for all tenants and vendors
- Provide oversight for property leasing and marketing initiatives
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
Experience & Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- 3 years of progressive experience in commercial property management required
- Demonstrated track record of tenant relationship excellence
