What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Manager (ID/A) position at Step by Step Inc.?
We are in search of a Residential Program Manager for the Lehigh Valley Office covering both Lehigh and Northampton Counties. The Program Manager maintains the overall administrative and supervisory responsibilities for all quality aspects of Community Residential Programs operated by Step By Step, Inc in both Lehigh and Northampton Counties. This role is a great opportunity for a candidate with extensive human service experience, is organized, can manage multiple residential programs, work well under pressure and ensure goals and objectives of program are achieved
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Assures all paperwork is completed and documented appropriately into document storage programs in accordance with policies and procedures
- Monitor on-site finances for each individual ensuring accountability for all funds in a program (Assist in monitoring and maintaining consumer finances)
- Monitor all grocery funds/spending, review grocery recaps for accuracy/appropriateness and submit on time to accounting
- Maintain effective communications with the entire team regarding the health and medical needs of individuals
- Ensures completion of all monthly paperwork and maintains annual records for each site
- Ensure staff is completing all daily documentation including daily logs, chore charts, medication logs, goal data, etc.
- Prepare progress reports for individuals immediate support group, including their family and/or guardian, staff, employment specialist, case manager, and other professionals
- Perform on-call duties including being available to staff during evenings and weekends in the event of an emergency
- Ensures all staff in their programs are properly submitting time and attendance of their hours in a timely manner
- Ensure staff is completing all daily documentation including daily logs, chore charts, medication logs, goal data, activity charting, etc.
- Ensure staff are completing their training according to regulations.
- Complete staff evaluations and annual reviews for staff
- May perform the duties of Direct Support Professionals as necessary, in accordance with current staffing needs
- On-Call as scheduled
Requirements:
- A Master’s Degree or above from an accredited college or university plus one year experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities and two years supervisory experience; or
- A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university plus two years experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities and two years supervisory experience; or
- An Associate’s Degree or 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university plus four years experience working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities and two years supervisory experience.
