What are the responsibilities and job description for the Site Coordinator position at Step By Step, Inc.?
Looking to hire a full time Latchkey School Age Site Coordinator.
This is a full-time position (30 hours per week) with benefits. Hours would be split shifts of 6:00 am-9:00 am and 2:00 pm- 6:00 pm Additional hours are available, and some required, on school holidays, early dismissals, and breaks. There may be additional hours available at the Brighton Center when available, if interested.
Preferred Requirements:
25 Years old and Clear a Driving background check through DCFS
30 semester hours with 6 semester hours related to school-age childcare, child development, elementary education, physical education, recreation, camping, or other related fields:
or
1560 clock hours of experience in a recreational program or licensed daycare center serving school-age children and 6 semester hours.
(School-age verified experience may include: Camp counselor, Licensed Center, Church-related, etc.)
Pay is based on education and position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transporting Children on Summer Field Trips
- Maintain a quality model classroom and following the job description for your coordinating teaching position, including implementation of lessons and following class schedule.
- Assure the safety of the children and staff at all times & ensure the program is in compliance at all times (ratio, USDA, safety checks, etc.)
- Confer with any parent or staff who expresses a complaint or concern verbally in the absence of the Program Administrator and inform upon return or immediately as necessary.
- Opening & closing the program (split shift).
- Must maintain good judgment & maturity as you may be left to run the program, staff, and children on an as-needed basis.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
