What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substitute Teacher position at Step By Step, Inc.?
Our Centers are hiring a Teacher qualified staff person to be a substitute at all of our locations. five locations will call ahead and schedule time to work as well as call on the day of need based on staff illness/vacation. This is an as needed position at this time, but can lead to a permanent position in the future when one becomes available. Our five locations are located in Alton, Bethalto, and Brighton Illinois.
Key responsibilities include following through with lesson plans, routine care of the children (feeding, diapering, etc), sanitation of the classroom, and providing a warm, nurturing, and loving learning environment. Applicants for this position must be at least 19 years old, have a high school diploma/GED, and college credit preferred but not required. Salary varies based on education and credentialing.
