Responsibilities

• Collaborate with local organizations to identify needs and develop strategies for program implementation.
• Conduct outreach and engagement activities to recruit volunteers and participants for community initiatives.
• Assist in the creation and execution of educational workshops and training sessions.
• Develop promotional materials to raise awareness of programs and services offered by the organization.
• Collect data and evaluate program effectiveness, providing reports to stakeholders.
• Foster relationships with community members, leaders, and other organizations to promote partnership opportunities.
• Participate in regular training sessions and meetings to enhance skills and share experiences with fellow VISTA members.

Skills

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage diverse audiences.
• Excellent organizational abilities with attention to detail for project management.
• Problem-solving skills to navigate challenges creatively and effectively.
• Experience in community outreach or volunteer coordination is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or similar software applications.
• A commitment to service, social justice, and making a positive impact in the community.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $1,914.92 per month
