What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head Start Education Manager position at STEP, Inc.?
STEP, Inc. seeks a skilled and experienced professional to assume the position of Head Start Education Manager. Head Start/Early Head Start provides programming for low-income infants, toddlers, and pregnant women on a variety of topics from children’s physical, social and emotional development to prenatal care and postpartum care. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of all the Franklin County Head Start/Early Head Start education staff in accordance with state and federal standards.
Qualifications
– Bachelor’s Degree or advanced degree in early childhood education or a bachelor’s or advanced degree and equivalent coursework in early childhood education with early education teaching experience required.
– 3 years program management & supervisory experience required.
– Proficiency in budgetary and fiscal management required.
– Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Salary range $46,730.25 – $54,054.05. Benefits include health insurance, disability insurance, PTO, and 401K.
