Responsibilities
- Plan activities that are developmentally appropriate
- Design a daily and weekly schedule using Creative Curriculum
- Provide basic care and caregiving activities
- Evaluate children to ensure they are reaching developmental milestones
- Communicate with parents and update them on their childrens activities
- Keeping the classroom and common areas clean neat and tidy
- Previous experience as a daycare teacher or childcare provider
- Strong understanding of child development
- Patient, kind, and nurturing
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
- First aid / CPR certified
- CDA or similar degree required
