Pay Grade : Union Plant 6mos probationary pay $37.11, regular pay $43.91

Job Description
The Maintenance Mechanic performs and completes mechanical repairs of equipment, including steam boilers and cooling towers, reactors and heat exchangers.
- Troubleshoots repairs and installs various instrumentation and electrical systems .
- Removes and replaces electric motors ½ hp to 250 hp.
- Disassemble / reassembles equipment and piping
- Operate industrial equipment
- Work in confined spaces while utilizing appropriate respiratory equipment.
- Work with all hand held powered tools.
Qualifications
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing and preferred chemical plant experience
Must be able to lift 50 / bs, and the below :
1) Standing

3) Stooping / Bending
4) Reaching at shoulder, knee and floor level
5) Carrying
6) Lifting
7) Pushing / Pulling
8) Kneeling / Crouching
9) Squatting / Crawling
10) Climbing Stairs
Education
High School Diploma required. Certification of electrical, mechanical work are preferred as well as applicable college course work
