Stepan is seeking a Procurement Financial Analyst to join our Procurement Center of Excellence team in Northbrook, IL. In this role, you will report to the Sr Manager – Global Procurement Center of Excellence. This position will be responsible for supporting the Global Procurement team by providing financial analysis, reporting, and insights. This role will focus on leveraging PowerBI to create and maintain dashboards, analyze procurement data, and support decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with procurement finance, and proficiency in PowerBI.

Key Responsibilities
- Spend Analytics – Assists in reporting analytics for Stepan’s global spend ($1.5 billion). Focus placed on processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis
- Global Market Intelligence Suite – Coordinate the collection and reporting of raw material procurement price forecasting in conjunction with key global market intelligence metrics and feedstocks. Work with Procurement Leadership to present graphic analytics of feedstock pricing and economic trends.
- Dashboard Creation – Develop and maintain PowerBI dashboards to visualize procurement data and provide actionable insights.
- Technology Admin – Assist in day-to-day global use of the procurement analytic tools. This includes troubleshooting issues, assisting in addressing user questions, establishing access, testing, coordinating and performing training, etc.
- 1 - 3 years of financial, supply chain, and/or procurement analyst experience.
- Strong statistical analysis experience with large datasets.
- Must demonstrate critical thinking.
- Technical skills with PowerBI
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Bachelor's degree required. Master’s degree preferred.

Salary : $65,000 - $94,000
